I know that the question has been asked before,but where am I best sending my boots to be brought back up to standard?Is it the place in Cheshire?
I suppose that I am not sure who will replace the sole with the same sole as the original boot had as I really like the grippy nature of the boots,and they were therefore good for rock climbing.

PS Scottish Mountain Gear in Edinburgh did a good job of fixing my ancient Mountain Equipment Rucksack and also my sleeping bag zip.

Did my Scarpa SLs, decent job, but the sole had worn down within a year. Soft compound maybe?
