On Saturday I dropped a quark (old style silver with orange handle) hammer from the third belay on Stringfellow on Ben Nevis. If it reached the base of the crag, I imagine it would be in the area of Garadh Gully. Went back on Sunday but no sign. Anyone find it?
Brilliant route by the way. Getting up the fourth pitch with one less tool in the team was excellent training.

I recall Alan Kimber always ended up with a great collection of kit dropped on the Ben and subsquently found in the Spring melt. Don't know if he is still collecting but worth a try ?
