Alex Puccio on Jade, 4 kbLast August we reported (UKC News) that American boulderer Alex Puccio had repeated the iconic probelm of Jade (8B+) at the Upper Chaos Canyon, RMNP, USA.

Now the footage of her is online for all to see and this problem looks desperate!

In reply to UKC News: That looks like a inspirational achievement, well done to the young lady. Is the current trend for female climbers in the US to wear gaudy nail varnish as much of a ridiculous affectation as wearing a beanie in the summer over here is?

Fantastic effort on the climb, only slightly spoiled by a bit of a lacklustre performance jumping into the lake. ;O)

Frank - if you watch the Pooch climbing you really don't focus on the 'nail varnish'.

And as for 'ridiculous affectations' where do you stop? Hair cuts?
