Hello

I have made a movie for a friends hen do on my ipad with iMovie. Does anyone know how I can transfer it to a laptop so I can play it on a projector at the hen party?

The file is too large to email and I would like to keep it private so I don't want to put it on YouTube.

Really appreciate any tips

if you don't have one then create a dropbox account and put the app on the iPad. You can then share by linking it privately. This is assuming the file is not bigger than the free allowance.

Put it on Vimeo and make it so only folks with the link can see it.

I used to convert the movie to quicktime then it can be viewed on any device running a QT viewer.
Can take a while to render to QT if it's a long film.

I think you do that by "export" from the menu dropdowns
