Hi there,
I've just moved to Malawi and am keen to find climbing partners to climb on Zomba, Mulanje, wherever. Bit of a long shot, but is there anyone out there? I'm based in Blantyre.

Lots of members in Blantyre (though probably still mostly walkers), at least there were 12 years ago when I was there. There is some bouldering on Mount Soche - there is a guide now on the MCM site - and even a bouldering wall in Blantyre. Endless other bouldering possibilities near Mulanje and the lake. Make sure to take lots of big gear if you end up on Chambe west face (Africa's longest rock climb I believe). Jes Bates is still out there and is a climber and good bloke.
