Anyone else been watching the £ vs € exchange rate - it hit 1.37 today - the highest for seven years and up 10% since Christmas. Cheaper summer hols on the way

£ to Norwegian and Swedish krona is also at a high, roughly 20-25% up on two years ago.

If your involved in an industry that is a net exporter to Europe you need to take a awful lot of holidays to offset the loss of income caused by this!

Interesting times, especially for anyone looking to buy a lot of Euros in the next few months, always hard to judge where the top will be

Yep. I look after a number of businesses that import goods from Europe to sell in UK. They had a tough time a couple of years ago, as low as 1:1.1 but it's looking very good at the moment.
