It was on for a very good price on ebay and I have been wanting a something to use for wildlife for a while. Lets hope I get on with it!!

Anybody used this lens? A bit late to ask now I know but how did you get on with it?

I do. I've found it to be very good, sharp, easy to use (good use for those climbing-derived over-developed forearms), built like a tank and good value. Great for wildlife, and far away crags.

Nice shots Jon. I have one of these as well and it is consitently good tho' best with manual focus.
