Hi all,

Looking for info on hoy, wondering what is there rather than the obvious ones like the old man etc.
Is there any dws and or scrambling or gorgewalking

Thanks in advance

I've never been myself, but I know that Jules Lines has done a bit of DWS at Yesnaby.

Lots of sea cliffs. Some single pitch on Mainland. Hoy is all multipitch I think, mostly fairly adventurous. Can't imagine there's any scrambling or gorge walking, the sea cliffs are all steep from what Ive seen and the hills are fairly rounded. Anyway, is there any gorge walking anywhere in Britian?

If you walk about on the hills on Hoy, watch out for these guys:-

A walk along Cheddar Gorge can be a hair raising experience, especially if you, the boy racers and the narrows all coincide!

Yep. The best Scottish DWS venue apparently! I can't comment on that, but it's certainly great climbing.
