Climbing in Somalia, past and present?
Does anyone have any information on climbing in Somalia, past and present? I was out working in Somaliland last year for a couple of weeks and about to go back for another couple of weeks. Most people are not aware that Somaliland (which has declared unilateral independence from Somalia and is seeking recognition) is very peaceful in compared with the rest of Somalia e.g. no terrorist attacks since 2008. I'm thinking of taking a finger board out with me - might be the first finger board in the country!
