in response to mine and Stephen Farrugias article being aimed at grade 7 and 8 climbers,
Our sole intention was to publish an article to promote climbing in our islands, as a photographer i chose some of my preferred images that expose the beautiful environment climbers can experience in malta and gozo. The article clearly explains that there are lots of routes in amenable grades, intact malta boasts endless grade 5 sport climbs, many more than grade 7 or 8. We promote climbing for all levels, and I'm sure most people reading the article will grasp that. Malta indeed has asserted itself as a sport climbing destination with the sport guidebook, however trad climbing still has great potential here.
