Chalk bag for Yosemite

Just booked my flights for Yosemite for the autumn, and super psyched. However, I've realised I only have one chalk bag, so feel like I should get another - I have quite thin hands, so was wondering if anyone could recommend anything with that in mind?
Also interested in any tips regarding chalk, specifically whether loose or balls work better for big walling. Seems like there'd be a lot of possibilities for you to spill loose chalk with all of the ledges and so on, but then surely it'd be way worse to drop your whole chalk ball?

You need brown chalk theses days in Yosemite with bid-degradable balls.

Don't forget that classic shot of Jardine on Separate Reality with two chalk bags...
Edit: Actually I've just found it and can only see one.

Hi Jon,

How sad is this, the two chalk bag malakry was Hudon and Jones........ Given that I think the OP should take three (If two were good enough for those two, then surely three will be better.)

I thought it was Nipper; Jon will explain.

I'm not so sure, Steve. Both Hudon and Jones had enormous (well it probably just looked that way as they're both only about 5'2") chalk bags - just one each - clipped to a sling over one shoulder. http://www.supertopo.com/inc/photo_view.php?dpid=PDM8Pjk3Iykn I remember seeing them in Eldorado in 1978 trying to free The Wisdom roof and they were using the same system: http://www.supertopo.com/inc/photo_view.php?dpid=Mjs9PDg3ICkl

Jardine, on the other hand (or indeed, both hands!) http://www.supertopo.com/climbers-forum/385308/The-fashionable-Ray-Jardine-...

Which leads me to Ian's post... I can't quite remember the exact details of what was happening at the time but I think Nipper (Harrison) was having trouble chalking up enough on a really hot day in Pembroke. I remarked to him that maybe he should consider carrying two chalk bags, one on each hip. To which Nipper replied that he didn't think he was coordinated enough and would probably end up letting go with both hands at the same time!

This is like a chalk bag top trumps, I'm on my phone so don't know how to post the links, but check out the 'Tales of Power' thread on ST. Photos of Hudon with two chalk bags. Who innovated first; Jardine or Hudon/Jones...............
