Annoying forum glitch

Several times now, I have wanted to post a link to a youtube clip at as specific point. Just now it was this one at t=30

youtube.com/watch?v=p3tUqRBiMVo&t=30

On preview the URL contains the time point, but when it gets posted it disappears making what I consider to be an amusing put-down impossible to hurl at the relevant prat.

Thankfully some kind soul did post this appropriately edited clip onto youtube, which I think works well for that purpose

youtube.com/watch?v=28NnWphc8IY&

but variety is the spice of life, isn't it.

I have emailed the appropriate UKC person, but apparently this isn't at the very top of their list of urgent priorities.

Can anyone help get round this?

Not sure if the new website still allows us to embed html tags; if it does, try inserting an anchor tag yourself

[a href="url"]title[/a]

Replace the square brackets with lt, gt signs.

Let's see if it lets me posts this...

Thanks...but unfortunately I can't understand that. Ah well.

In reply to Jon Stewart:

Well, you could Google 'HTML anchor', and read one of the many guides it finds...
