Can anyone tell me which is the best Yorkshire Grit bouldering guide, especially to contain Slipstones.

The definitive (routes + boulders) Yorks Grit Vol.1 has Slipstones, Brimham, Caley, Almscliff, and loads more. No Shipley Glen, Earl or Bridestones though, for that you need Vol 2. for that.

I didn't like the bouldering guides (coffee table landscape format) much.

Good idea. But if it wasn't for the sandy rock Bridestones would be world class. Horror Arete is quite possibly the best boulder problem I've ever done - way better than any of that rubbish in the Parisian suburbs.
