It's a fair comment leveled at gear reviews that to get timely reviews out on new products, you don't get to thrash gear for years to know how hard wearing it is or isn't. So it's maybe worth noting here that I reviewed a pair of Terras for UKC in 2009 http://www.ukclimbing.com/gear/review.php?id=1970 I still regularly use that pair of Terras, often for climbing in, and except for some tiny snags in the material on the inside of the ankles (probably done ice climbing in them without gaiters on) my Terras still look in really good nick. So can say that at least the 2009 vintage of Terra troos are as tough as old boots. I do fancy the look of the new Super version in funky green though!
