To round out the bouldering information coverage for Bishop we have produced a new MiniGUIDE: The Secrets Of Bishop Bouldering is a 44 page feast of new areas lavishly illustrated with colour photographs and topos. It is available here:

http://www.rockfax.com/miniguides/item.html?id=52

And for your rest days why not go Scrumberling in the Buttermilk. Scrumberling is a moderate rock and run taking in boulders, easy rock faces, talus slopes with some running in between. Get this FREE MiniGUIDE here:

http://www.rockfax.com/miniguides/item.html?id=53

If you would like to follow in Andy Hyslop's footsteps on your "rest day" whilst in Bishop why not try Andy's two Mountain Trials. Both have more ascent than climbing Everest from its basecamp. You can download this FREE MiniGUIDE here:

http://www.rockfax.com/miniguides/item.html?id=54

Lastly, if you haven't already, download your FREE MiniGUIDE updates to the Happy Boulders, Sad Boulders, and Druid Stones here:

http://www.rockfax.com/bishop/

And don't forget to get your FREE "Staying In Bishop" and "Hot Springs Of The Eastern Sierra" MiniGUIDES.

all the best,

What was that Fiend?

In reply to Fiend:
That was funny. You said that and then suddenly this was a premier post and then I looked for it and it had gone....... of course, now there's more than five some vanish if you view by forums latest..... so I looked for it in rock destinations and there it was...... then it reappeared on forums latest and I clicked quick before it whizzed away again.

I think it'll take me some time to get used to the pattern of movement of the premier threads. The normal ones flow so predicatably, up if replied to, down if not..... these it's more like brownian motion you never know what they'll do next =:-O

" Mick Ryan, our man at the ground zero of American bouldering, "

Isn't it unAmerican to use 'ground zero' like that !?!

In reply to Mick - Rockfax USA:

"That" was posted when it was a normal message...

I reckon you got a serious discount there anyway. £3 tops IMHO.

Mick,

When is the Eastern Sierra print guide due?

Will it be essentially a compilation of the all the mini-guides plus ORG?

Chris.

So why's this stopped being a premier post? Credit card overspend?
In reply to gingerkate:

An executive decision was taken.

They have been very popular and we don't want to fill them up with our own advertising which tends to surround the forums anyway.
