Hi,

Someone mentioned an Andy Kirkpatrick trick of adding a tube over the cord on a Hex to stiffen it up - like a wired hex - to make reach placements etc easier.

Anyone got a link or picture ?

Thanks. Looks like it. Have the tube so that the triple fishermans stop it sliding back down preventing the krab clipping on a reasonable loop.

Just be aware that stiffening the sling will make the placements to be shifted/tilted more. Probably not so big deal with well placed hexes than the cams though. I guess that will produce more rope drag, too.
