Going for a few days in a remote place without rocks or internet, I'll need a couple of movies to watch offline. The trick being that I cannot for the moment buy any movie on google play (I'm on Android) - so I'll need to purchase the movies from producers that allow you to download them directly.

But that's not so bad because that's what most independent producers let you do. Now looking for climbing-related movies - but I only know of hot aches and sender films, and I think I have watched everything I could like from them.

Anything else to recommend? More interested in "historical" stuff/documentaries (e.g. Valley Uprising) than reel rock types/random videos of sponsored athletes shouting on a project (with the exception of wide boyz, because who doesn't like them, really)

It's not a climbing film per se, but you should see if you can get hold of 180 degrees south, especially if you like valley uprising.
