I went up the north ridge this afternoon, and was asked the way to the top by a twentyish year old lad. This was just below the start to the main ridge . His girlfriend was sitting playing on an iPad .
Curiously, he shouldered a mountain bike and started to follow me up the ridge, with the girlfriend sloping behind. I did advise that there was a lot of hands on, but he continued to follow. I said nowt as I've seen that bloke on the inn pinn with his bike .
