Impressive regardless, 4700 feet of ascent in 1:19 is rapid going. Be interesting to know more about the route.

From the picture topo it looks like he went up snake dike- one pitch of 5.7 and the rest about 5.4- no idea on the route he took to the base of the climb though, which I guess is where he cut the time down..

I'm not really a proper climber so I doubt I'll be doing that kind of "running" any time soon!

He was killed this weekend, BASE jumped and the parachute didn't deploy
