I've got some spare days (approx 13-24 July) on a Russian visa and would greatly like to go hiking in the Khibiny Mountains (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khibiny_Mountains). I think that going by myself with limited Russian would just be too daunting. I've looked for guided trips but can only find one, which is right at the very end of this time and leaves me too much time beforehand. Anyone got any ideas how to find someone to go with? Or anyone here got any experience of these mountains at all? I'm guessing they don't get many foreign visitors.
