I'd like to get a compact keyboard (no number pad on the right hand side) but reading several reviews, there seem to be issues with each of those I've looked at, eg dodgy keys, wrong (US) layout, general poor quality.

I'm looking for a USB one, rather than a wireless model.

Does anyone have a recommendation please?

If it is for travelling about with, get a rollable rubber one. Not too bad to type on and easy to tuck away in a rammed bag.

To be honest, I don't imagine that there are many bad USB keyboards out there, there is not much tech behind it.

Thanks, but it's not for portability, it's for office use. The ergonomic chair I have in here has armrests which are great, but they mean my right arm is extended too far to the side for 'general mouse-work' with a central, regular width keyboard. Witha narrower one, my arm will be in a better position...I hope! I'm currently getting a very sore right shoulder after an hour's work.

I'd have thought they were much of a muchness too, but the reviews seem to suggest otherwise.
