I've emailed the company, but have not heard back yet. I am just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so how he or she went about fixing it?

How did it break? At a join or in the middle of section? We had one split at a join (the outer pole 'peeled' apart from the end) and we fixed it by finding a metal sleeve of slightly larger diameter and forcing it over the break.

Not in the UK. Had repairs done in North America where both MEC and REI have good repairs services, but can't think of a UK equivalent (sadly) and was looking up the same for myself the other day.
