Apparently Almscliffe..... the“Crag might be a popular tourist attraction but it’s not protected, it’s nothing, it holds as much as weight as a rock in your back garden"
Of course its place in climbing history, its iconic profile that's visible for miles and instantly recognizable as one of Yorkshires landmarks by the nation is nothing. The fact that its used on the credits for for the ever popular soap Emmerdale is nothing...we shall see how Harrogate BC responds
