I am looking for a new family tent. I was looking at this one:

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks for your help

Only one review so it could be a one off but anyway

I have 2 vango tents and I'm happy with them. That one looks like a fair weather tent. My big tent is a vango vista 800 it has tension band and is ok in bad weather consideri g the size of it. Its bigger than some London flats!!

I dont think its a current model but you might get a second hand one for not too much.

This is what I have. Great for family camping. Can put in one pair of bedrooms and have more room or both and have 4 bedrooms.

Outwell tents are pretty bombproof. However, they aren't cheap. Vangos are fine for most conditions, but in my experience not as robust as Outwells in high winds (I have one of each).

A second for the vango vista. I have the 600 which has one large compartment and one smaller. Ours stood up to a to a full on twister (not an exaggeration) which smashed in the window of some caravans!

I think my brother has that one. I wanted the same but couldn't get it so ended up with the ridiculously large version.

I found the tension bands work really well in wind.

I have a Vango 800 vista with the tension band system. It's an fine tent for family use and huge! Anyhoo, due to having a campervan now, we're selling it. Yours for £100 but you will have to collect it. The postman would not be impressed trying to pop it through your letter box. PM me if you're interested.

cheers
Graham
