Hi All,

This weekend coming me and the girlfriend are going to head to Shorncliff Crag on Saturday and Wyndcliff on the Sunday.

Does anyone know which campsite is best located to walk in for the two?

Cheers,
James

In reply to jungle:

The Beeches is the only option (OS Ref 548 006) and is good for Shorn Cliff about (20 minutes plus or minus).

It is much further to Wynd Cliff: probably well over an hour, with a fairly unpleasant walk along the main road. An OS map would be useful, though the route can be worked out from the guidebook maps (the best is in South West Climbs 1 page 67): down to Tintern and then south along the A466.

The Beeches is often full over fine summer weekends so you are strongly advised to book in advance: 01291 689257

Thanks John.

Looks like an easy walk to Shorncliff, which is ideal.

I'll give them a bell later, let's hope the forecast changes for the better this weekend!
