Our new Climbing Wall at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre is due to open shortly and we require a Coordinator and technical expert to manage this new facility for 30 hours per week.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the climbing wall to ensure that it is utilized effectively, meets health & safety standards and meets all targets for income generation and usage. Delivering and supervising indoor climbing for private tuition, groups and courses, in a friendly and safe manner in accordance with the National Governing Body guidelines.
Previous climbing experience is essential with a proven record in the instruction and administration of climbing, classes & program's. You will hold a Climbing Wall Award (CWA) (with Abseil module) & or Single Pitch Award (SPA) Qualification. A climbing Wall leading Award (CWLA) is also desirable.
You will possess excellent communication skills and have previous experience of working/dealing with the public and customers of all ages. You will be IT literate and have experience /knowledge of working with social media.
A current First Aid Certificate is required.
You will be required to work a variety of hours which may include annualized hours comprising of days, evenings, weekends & bank holidays.
