Quite an easy one (I usually get fewer correct in G quizzes); the colours alone give most away. Maddeningly I got #6 wrong, was over-hasty.

You are right, the colours are the biggest clue.

8/10 likewise! It helps if you know the painting. Put in some really obscure works and you're stuffed!

9/10 but I would only have got 8 if it hadn't been for a lucky guess. Being partially sighted means that my initial view of most paintings isn't much better in a gallery until I get within a few feet!

I can post while my microscope scans a sample, but have no access to my images which I could pixellate.

Nope, and nor do I go. I googled the first ("pixellated mountain"), and the second I already knew, by the master of taking a walk with a line (mahoosive hint).
