Just getting back into trad and Welsh rock after years of sticking to clipping bolts and Yorkshire grit. Is there any consensus on the best North Wales selected guide? I'm currently using {Paul Williams 1987 Llanberis guide!

Oh my, that's a loaded question.

Big-endians go for the Ground Up selective.
Little-endians go for the Rockfax selective.

No complaints with the Ground Up - good guide, very readable crag intros (love what it has to say about much of Gogarth South, stuff like "an effably serious cliff, but utterly compelling"), good photo topos, etc.

Edit: *an ineffably serious cliff... think this was Red Wall or Mousetrap Zawn.

Hmmm. That makes me a Big-endian - should I be pleased?
