I'll be in Zermatt, Switzerland. I want to trekking to Zurich, Switzerland.
Is it possible to go on foot the distance? Does trails and maps?

Thank you,

Also this site:

http://www.wanderplaner.ch/willkommen/

You can make a test account and generate a route plan.

For example, using the link in the previous post, a route over the Lötschepass (2690m) is c.240km, with c.8000m of ascent, c.9000m of descent. This route also goes through Interlaken and Luzern on the way to Zürich, it's probably the shortest route.

So, going over the Grimsel pass or the Furka pass is about the same distance. In the latter case you could also visit the memorial to Suvorov at the Devil's Bridge below Andermatt, if you're into that kind of thing.

I do recommend the wanderplaner site, but note you only have 48hrs with the trial registration.
