You may never have heard of it - my mate who lives in Stockport had never heard of it - but we noticed this climbing / skiing shop and popped in for a look around this weekend.

Absolutely brilliant. Very knowledgable and helpful staff. Good selection of quality gear, and from 15 minutes I spent in there, it was clear that you would not walk out with the wrong kit. And they've sorted out a tent repair that I've been meaning to do for ages but never found anyone with the knowledge or desire to do it.

This is exactly the kind of shop that needs to exist, so if you're in the area, please take a look.

Agreed, I was actually sign posted there by Scarpa for some boot fitting a few years ago and they are great. Been back a few times since for various things and not been disappointed.

Second they are amazing. I feel quite guilty I haven't bought anything from them recently. I've chatted to them for up to an hour about kit! With the BMC discount there not all that expensive either.
