So this looks like a cool little route, thinking of heading up there tomorrow, but to be honest I'm a little bewildered by how to set up the retrievable Tyrolean between the 1st and 2nd Clochetons?

Would anyone who has done the route care to enlighten me?

Cheers!

It's pretty straightforward when you're there. There's a couple of T shaped metal spikes on the far side, chuck a bight of rope over one, pass it around the T anchor on your side, then knot the ropes together so you've made a loop that goes around both anchors across the gap. Twiddle the rope so the knot goes to the far side. Attach yourself to the rope with a couple of opposed screwgates, then monkey across. When everyone's across undo the knot to retieve the rope. Simples.

Perfect, cheers. Had a feeling it'd be one of those 'makes sense once you get there' things. Sounds straightforward enough!
