Possibly got this in the wrong forum but hey ho.

Off to France next Monday for DH biking, some sports routes and the Megavalanche (which will probably be getting done with a hangover going by past experience), anyone have any good suggestions for travel insurance folks?

Usually just go with generic winter sports cover but given its an actual race (and there's a fair possibility of tw*tting myself) want to make sure I've got the right cover.

As always any hints and tips gratefully received.

I few years since I raced the mega. I seem to remember getting insurance for the race from the organiser for a few euros extra. Races are hard to get insurance for generally. Even the more expensive snow card type exclude racing.

My mate booked my spot on the Race as his French is slightly less terrible than my own so doubt we have cover that way.

Anyone else have any pointers???
