Half Dome Rockfall

Anyone heading out to the Valley soon, with Regular Route on Half Dome in mind might want to check out a current Supertopo thread.

A large rockfall may have taken out the 'Ledge' at the end of pitch 11. As yet there hasn't been a close up inspection, but one is going to take place soon.

Seem to remember that there was a pendulum to get into the missing belay ledge.

Pretty sure I bivied on that ledge (if it's just before the chimneys) Yikes!
