So just came back from a 4 day trip to the alps. got off the plane, straight to Chamonix and within 2 hours, was on the Cosmique Arete, climbing at dusk to sleep at the station overnight. First cable car down, quick breakfast/lunch and it was on the montenvers train to hike into the Ceuvercle refuge. A strange interaction with the hut warden and we had a decent night's sleep before climbing the Aguille di Moine via the classic south ridge. Back down and out the via ferrata/glacier/via ferrata descent to catch the last train (with minutes to spare) back to the valley to finish a 14 hour day. Rest day on sunday checking out gear shops, then an early start to climb the very short but crowded Aguille Petite Vert (first to summit that morning thankfully). back to chamonix to catch the alpybus with seconds to spare.
I don't think I could have fitted much more in, and my feet are paying the price but god it was awesome!!!!
