Over the last two days I have lifted six concrete slabs - 24 inches by 24 inches weight unknown, levelled off the base, mixed about half a hundredweight of cement and relaid four of the slabs.

One consolation, I couldn't have done it this time last year!

I'm pretty knackered, I'm still processing losing my mum a bit, so my sleep isn't consistent (& my focus isn't, to some degree), and I'm trying to gather my faculties for writing my Forest Schools Portfolio work, which is something of a challenge when not sleeping consistently.

If there's one thing that's true it's that I don't give up easily, but it'd be nice if things were easier going all the same.

Lack of sleep, chronic illness, 2.5h driving 7.5h work no lunch, why have I got a headache.
Think ill have a nice sleep now counting paving slabs being laid
