I live down in the southern part of the French Alps and reliability of
http://montagne.lachainemeteo.com/ never ceases to amaze me. We live in a small valley which can have its own microclimate, and the website is often pretty accurate, predicting the difference between us and the main village just 5km at the end of the valley and 100m lower.
There's a phone app as well.
Can't vouch for it in the bigger hills however, but I'm guessing like the UK, most of the core weather data comes from pretty much the same source.
