CHALET HOTEL HOUSE MANAGER, SAN CASSIANO, ITALY
Chalet Manager Required for Winter 2015/16: We are recruiting for an experienced house-manager/chalet manager to take over the general day to day management of our 17 bedroom Chalet Hotel Albergo Frohsinn in the heart of the Italian Dolomites.

The Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the chalet hotel ensuring that the guests’ needs are met at all times while maintaining the Company’s standards. With the support of the Resort Manager and UK management staff you’ll be leading a team of 7 staff in this hands on management role. You’ll be very much part of the team while being responsible for the rota and general day to day running of the chalet hotel. You’ll also act on guest and resort manger feedback to improve standards where necessary.
The hours can sometimes be long and the job is challenging and you need to be excellent at working within a team. You must have extremely high work standards, be customer-focused, self motivated and take pride in your work at all times.

A passion for the Mountains is essential.
Essential Requirements
• To have successfully completed at least two seasons working for a ski holiday company or have some management or supervisory experience in the hospitality industry.
• To be comfortable working within a close team.
• A flexible, hands-on “nothing too much trouble” attitude.
• Excellent organisation skills.
• An ability to work on own initiative & solve problems alone.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Useful Requirements
• Some understanding of Italian and/or German language.
• Previous chalet or similar experience.
• A passion for the outdoors & mountain sports (this is possibly essential)
