plantar fasciitis flare up

Just have a slight flare of PF, I can still run but know from experience this probably isn't best course of action.
I want to get back in action ASAP.
Any exercises I can do to help speed things along?
I want to keep up the training can will a spin session help or hinder?

I'd see a physio and find what the cause is

I could always run through it but off road, beach and trail runs were much better and a slightly lower mileage, but then lots of iceing, stretching (calfs and the back chain) seemed to get it in check.
