I bought a pair of Rocklite 280's a few weeks ago and have found when I run in the I develop bisters on the base of my heel. I am not sure if its due to imapact or movement. I loop my laces which keep the foot in place but the blisters still develop. As these are new shoes I cant really afford to buy a replacement shoe.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Cheers

What do you mean by squidgy inner-soles? Are there some on the market? Thanks

I've used these before:

Albeit for a slightly different ailment (mild shinsplints), but they were very comfy. The heel inserts might be what you're looking for?

Thank you, somebody has mentioned heel pads. I will have a look out for a pair. Cheers

Problem with thicker insoles is that not every shoe has enough room for them. I tried some sorbothane ones before but couldnt get my foot in as well.
I got heel blisters once from one pair of running shoes. I sold them and haven't had any problems since.
Could be to do with heel striking, but id suggest using a different shoe
