To further discourage the ascent of the Mont Blanc via the normal route after recent heat wave and instable Grand Couloir, the authorities decided to close the Gouter hut till further notice:

Three months up n down. Boinnsay...would love to give that a go as part of Royal traverse...scary narrow ridge but uber spectacular, I understand there is some dodgy rock up there as well?
