Are the Swiss alps in any better condition than those in Cham?

Anyone in or recently in the swiss alps especially around the saas valley or mattertal?

Are conditions there similar to those in chamonix or better? Or worse!?

Looking to climb Dom or Nadelhorn / Lenzspitze etc

I'm just back from 2 weeks in the Alps where started in Chamonix then moved onto Saas Fee, Zinal, Tasch and Arolla.

Conditions are better in Switzerland than Chamonix but freeze levels have still been consistently above the summits for several weeks so there is soft snow everywhere. Careful route choice is required, starting very early and getting off the glaciers quickly.
