Long easy multi-pitching within 12 hours drive from Nantes
I am attending a conference in Nantes in the first week of September and I'm keen to make the most of the August bank holiday by doing a week of climbing before the event. At the moment I am planning on Ailefroide but it is not exactly on the way! It is about 12 hours drive from UK, then 12 hours to Nantes and 12 hours back to the UK from Nantes. I was just wondering if I'm missing somewhere obvious that is a bit closer to Nantes so I can save on travel hours/petrol/tolls. I'm after long adventurous multi-pitch routes around 5c or HS.
Is there anywhere good for this sort of thing at that time of year? Taking all recommendations that are less than a 12 hour detour from Nantes, any help would be greatly appreciated!
