Anyone got any experience with non canon batteries for this camera?
For my old 600D there was lots of different ones to choose from but for the 7DmkII I have so far only found 1 which I will probably go for at 18 pounds vs 60-65 £ for the canon ones.

In reply to Mikkel:

The canon 7D MkII battery is the LP-E6N which is the same as the 7D, 6D etc. I have the Hahnel battery for my 7D version and it works just fine, and although it's 1650 mAh compared to the 1800 mAh on my canon battery it works for in excess of 500 shots without running out. It retails about £25

I've used both Canon and Hahnel versions with my 6d and the Canon ones keep their charge *much* better, particularly when it's cold (Scottish winter, not Alaska cold!).

This is the ones I found https://www.digi-quick.co.uk/index.php/canon-eos-7d-mark-ii-replacement-bat...
60mA less than the canon ones but a third of the price.
Think I will try get one and see how it compares.
In reply to Mikkel:

Hi
I've 4 LP-E6 off brand batteries (2xMaxsima and 2xNo Name Ones) and a car charger, left over from when my 5D3 was stolen in a burglary.

Yours for £15 inc' p&p.

PM if interested.
