Hi all, I'm just back after another visit to wonderful Snowdonia. This time I went to somewhere that was completely new to me. The Rhinogs and Cadair Idris. Wow, there is so much more to Snowdonia than the honey pots of the 3000ers. They of course are great but further south there is lots to explore. Here is a link to my account of the trip. I hope you enjoy, Stephen http://howlingmist.blogspot.ie/2015/08/traversing-rhinogs-and-cadair-idris....
Looks like a good trip. The outlying summits of Cadair Idris (i.e. out east to Gau Graig and west to Craig y Llyn) are also worth exploring, as are the nearby Arans and Dovey Hills.
