Chance encounter with the bloke in the pub that always beats me at pool has resulted in lots of handy beta for Lundy and also access to a few sets of 0-6 original RPs, all in good condition (weighted in nests but not fallen on) and small protection is handy around my way so think i'm going to take a set off him..

..but whats the general view of their value in £?

I was thinking of offering him roughly the price of a set of brassies.

I paid about 4 quid a wire?

For hb's and rps (I can't remember which are the offset ones) averaged.

They probably have some value/interest as a collector's item these days, but as actual climbing protection are they any better (or worse) than IMPs?

in good nic £40 would be reasonable, i would pay more for an unused set
i have two sets of these ( one unused) and love placing them , i have used the imps also very good nuts,

there is a comparison chart here ;

Already have a set of IMPs and Small Brassies, so was considering these as the shape might be different and/or useful.
