Was surprised to see a newly built noticeable track heading from the farm towards the north east Corrie yesterday as I drove back along the A82. This must be a considerable undertaking, not least because it must require a railway crossing.
Anyone know what's being done? My guess is a mini hydro electric scheme.

Will it make that bloody walk-in more bearable?

Hope the make a better job of it than the tragic Loch Quoich schemes.

It looks like it goes about 40% of the way into the corrie (maybe more) and would be motorable
or cyclable.

That will make a difference if we're not denied access

Is yet another bulldozed track a good thing?
In reply to GForce1:
I should add that I don't think that motorable access to this corrie is either necessary or desirable and my description of it as such was just a description and not an endorsement of its use. I never thought the walk in was too bad here.

Hell no. I was just trying to look on the bright side.

Came down that way last Sunday. Looks like hydro works. Track goes up from new house near the farm up the east side of river, 'path' or peat bog is on the west side.
