So, who's been up trying Titan's Wall on Carn Dearg? We saw the crampon scratches...

Which pitch? If pitch one it could have been from teams attempting to reach Sassenach that way (before the FA)?

Pitch one was scratched when I did it last year (presumably for the reason above). Pitch 2 was pristine though. Absolutely superb route anyhow!

They left a couple of tied off pegs on the lower wall as well, which somewhat detracts from the pitch I thought - there is loads of natural protection available on the whole route so not sure this was necessary. Be good to see them go...

Yeah, French guide in feb 2014. Nice evening project for some public spirited local with a good hammer .

Just to help out the person who does go get them:
They're two angles pretty much in to the hilt, couldn't budge them with a nut key or rock abbing down here yesterday.
As smally says, you'll definitely need a hammer.
