At 1:47 in this vid a riff kicks in. The band on stage looks like Big Brother but I don't think it's them. Not that you can set much store by it, given the occasion, but the dancing's not exactly in synch...

It might of course be by Peter Sheffer, but I'm hoping it's an SF band I don't know as I really like it. It's not the Airplane or the Dead but might be Quicksilver?

Listening to it again the drumming is on the porcelain side to be Big Bill. And did Tone use a phaser/flanger or whatever like that? When did they come in? And although chunky, the riff gets into a syncopated skip that isn't really BS, who are more your basic meat and two veg riffers. I don't think it's QMS; don't know why I think it's SF sound, just hopin'. It has a touch of Spirit to it.
