hi there im new to climbing i have srt equipment and was wondering if anybody could suggest anything safe for first timers i am from the south of England but obviously can travel but closer at first would be better hope somebody could give me some advice cheers guys

Unfortunately there's not much in your SRT kit of use in climbing (to begin with at least) though you could get away with using the harness for a while. The south of England is a big place. Do you have a particular type of climbing or geographical area you're interested in? Either way, your best bet if you don't know other climbers is to find and join your local club. The BMC keeps a directory. Good luck.

I guess you have a harness, but you will need ropes and quick draws for any outdoor ropes. It maybe best to pair up with someone in the area, find your local climbers facebook group.
