Iain Small on the first ascent of the LH variation of What Lies Beneath (E8), 4 kbIain Small's new E8 finish to What Lies Beneath is both bold and gymnastic.

Niall McNair wasted no time in grabbing the second ascent of what he thinks is "the best piece of hard trad climbing in the Edinburgh area".

Good stuff - think the caption to the photo of NM needs some attention; presumably he's making the second rather than the first ascent of the original line.
